Benue State University proposed academic calendar, second semester 2018/2019 academic session.

As student wear their breeches for holiday upon the completion of the ongoing first semester examinations, Benue State University Makurdi, Directorate of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance with its cohorts, swiftly  proposed the second semester Academic Calendar for the 2018/2019 Academic session (for regular students).

Thus, Benue State University students on this be inundated that the school resumes 25th November 2019. Following the rapid vibes, the 100 level, 500 level and MBBS students resumption with registration immediately and ends 29th November, 2019. Meanwhile, the 200-400 level students resumption and registration dance without jives on  2nd December alongside with Academic Timetable.

The 2 weeks Christmas break which starts Monday 22nd December, 2019 and ends 3rd January 2019, as delineated in the school curriculum of next semester back  immediately the first continuous assessments after 1week of resumption.

However, the school after the first continuous assessment, gave 3 weeks for lectures and thereafter, culminate the semester with second continuous assessment and examinations.

BSUM MEDIA HOUSE. #hotline Aku Deborah and team Forum of Derpartmental presidents to appear before the Senate meeting for instigating a protest. 28/10/2019 News reaching the Benue State University media house states that, Aku Deborah in particular, Forum of Departmental president, and other students' personalities has been served a summons to appear before the Senate meeting on Thursday regarding the protest which held on 2nd Sept, 2019. This was also inline with a communique served by the school on the 15th October 2019 directing that a panel had been set to probe the initiators of the aclaimed voilent protest. Interveiwing one of which summoner has reached Comr.
