News reaching the Benue State University media house states th .at, Forum of Departmental president, and other students' personalities has been served a summons to appear before the Senate meeting on Friday regarding the protest which held on 2nd Sept, 2019. News reaching us has it that, the Department of Curriculum and Teaching under Faculty of Education is now separated into two different departments. Before the separation, the Department of Curriculum and Teaching existed as a department under the Faculty of Education. The newly created departments are below; * Department of Arts and Social science Education. *Department of Mathematics and science Education. According to the principal officers of Curriculum and Teaching department, after the establishment of the newly created departments come next session. The Department of Curriculum and Teaching ceases to exist as a department at Benue State University. Pastor Adeboye's prayer which was shared on Twitter has started off a controversy on the social media platform. The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) General Overseer's prayer centered on suspension of protocols, rules and criteria just like God did for Joseph. The prayer read; "Father, let all protocols, rules and criteria be suspended, overlooked and overruled, as You did for Joseph, in order for me to be promoted, in Jesus’ name" However some Nigerians felt the prayer encouraged nepotism, corruption and mediocrity.  Mallam Adamu Adamu ASUU LATEST NEWS No going back on strike – ASUU Published The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) says there is no going back on its one-week warning strike scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Nov. 16. BSUM Media House has gathered that, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, the union’s National President, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on telephone on Tuesday in Lagos that the strike would be totally a must. After its emergency executive committee meeting, the Union leadership declared the warning strike at a news conference on Monday in Abuja. Ogunyemi points chronic under-funding of the sector through low budgetary allocation, which went from 11 per cent in 2015 to eight per cent in 2016, did not go down well with the union. He pointed out the failure of government to implement the 2009 agreement and the 2013 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as some of the reasons for embarking on the warning strike. Report reaching the studio of BMH reveals that a graduate of University of Lagos State by name Olalumi Joy, in the department of Accounting, Faculty of Managment sciences which had just passed out in the 2018/2019 accademic session with first class division got blind in the process of fixing eyelashes. BHM gathered that, it occurred due to the inexpertise work done by an apprentice of a fashion firm in Lekki Lagos State.
