Benue State University creates new Departments

BENUE STATE UNIVERSITY    MAKURDI, CREATES NEW DEPARTMENTS.

News reaching us has it that, the Department of Curriculum and Teaching under Faculty of Education is now separated into two different departments.

Before the separation, the Department of Curriculum and Teaching existed as a department under the Faculty of Education.

The newly created departments are below;
* Department of Arts and Social science Education.
*Department of Mathematics and science Education.



According to the principal officers of Curriculum and Teaching department, after the establishment of the newly created departments come next session. The Department of Curriculum and Teaching ceases to exist as a department at Benue State University.

Meanwhile,  Associate Professor Terver Udu is been appointed to serve as the H.O.D of the Department of Art and Social Science Education, and  Professor  Emmanuel Achor  the H.O.D of Curriculum and Teaching Department as the H.O.D of the newly created Department of Mathematics and science Education.
