From the information we have gathered thus far, no form of screening  whatsoever is going on at the scholarship board. The place is filled up with armed police men awaiting protesters. As a matter of fact the students are not allowed to vent close to the gate, the security men stands gallantly at the path of the board office to prevent student from going close to the office. There was no reliable information as to the date to which the screening will be conducted for disbursement. The security men were only sent on a mission to prove the agitation abortive. The university was established by the state government to augment the specialized academic offerings of the University of Agriculture. In 1991, the state government formed a 13-member steering committee to plan for and obtain approval for the university.
